Understanding Christianity
Approach to Training & Impact
The Leicester Diocesan Board of Education was amongst the first DBEs to begin training schools in the Understanding Christianity resource as their consultant RE Adviser, Fiona Moss, was one of the Understanding Christianity writers and delivered the ‘Train the Trainer’ workshops in 2016.
Over 95% of schools in Leicester diocese are now trained in the Understanding Christianity resource.
In October 2018, the Assistant Director, Yolanda Morley-McKay and Fiona Moss from RE Today carried out an evaluation of the impact of the training received.
